So, my crazy idea of the week day is this… If the trustees are talking about replacing the two west-facing lower (concession and box office) windows, or all four west-facing windows, maybe consider replacing them with single pane no-frame non-glare plexiglass instead of windows with frames/panes. Then we mount the lobby display in the concessions window (no obstructions) so it is easy to see when you drive or walk by.

I suppose the other windows could feature decorative displays of some kind? Maybe portraits of Ella and Philip in the upper pair of windows, the ones that are permanently dark because they are under the projection booth in the crawlspace below the balcony?

The unfortunate thing is that won’t match all the other framed multi-pane windows, but it would keep things somewhat balanced, and much more functional.

Or, I’ve thought about putting a digital display just inside the windows in the new foyer between theatre and community room. Not ideal but maybe easier to see when you drive or walk by?

My other longer-term idea was to put one, two, or three monitors, like the lobby display, inside the outdoor “sign”, but then we’d have to worry more about climate control and vandalism. However, three (probably?) properly sized and matched monitors could fill the sign “case” and you would never have to open it to change the sign again… ever!
